My approach to Wikisphera

Hello everybody!
Here I am in order to reflect upon our last e-tivity. This week we were supposed to analyse our contribution to Edutech wiki and modify it, eliminating mistakes and improving content and form.

Last week, I contributed to Edutech with Barbara and we developped a specific subject in “Blog”: Teachers’ and students’ approach to educational blog. In class we discussed together about our works and we realised that our work could be improved.

Concerning the form, we had to modify some paragraphs as the text seemed too long and consequently too boring to read! Then, we made some links on the words which referred to other pages of the website (i.e. on the word “e-tivity” I made a link to that page).

As far as the content is concerned, we had to eliminate a long quotation and we had to add some references, after reading its rules. (We also improved the title where there was a bad grammar mistake but now it’s all right: “approach TO”).

At the beginning of this e-tivity, I have to say that I was worried: I didn’t know if I was able, and above all if what I would have written, would have been interesting for someone!
Fortunately, after reflecting in class I realised that my work wasn’t bad at all and that my biggest mistakes were in the form and in quotations.

This week I corrected my mistakes but I’m quite sure that it’s not completely all right and that there will be something else to improve (I’m not worried about that…There is always something to learn).

Thanks to this e-tivity I learnt in particular something about quotations and references (I know that I had already faced this problem with my “tesina” but…Do you believe me if I tell you that I did not remember anything about that?!!). Furthermore this e-tivity permitted me to learn something new about the subject I chose; as a matter of fact I didn’t choose to write about “teachers’ approach” because I am an expert in that field but because I wanted to understand something about that subject. I this way my contribution can be useful for other readers but first of all for me!

Last but not least…I think that our contributions are very good and interesting and now I am proud of our work!
I hope that it will be the same for those who will read it!
Have a nice week,
Bye

My contribution to Edutech Wiki

Hi everybody!
This week we were supposed to choose in Edutech wiki a subject we wanted to contribute and then edit our work!

Barbara and I decided to write something about Blog, as it is the technological tool we are using for our English learning. Exploring this part we realised that there was nothing about the way teachers and students feel themselves in front of this new means.

In particular I decided to write about teachers' approach. I began exploring the Web searching for pieces of information about the various teaching experiences in the world. I found many documents but they were very general and so I had to link elements taken from different websites.

After this long search my thoughts were clearer and so I decided to begin writing. When Barbara, too, finished we put our work together and edited it in Edutech wiki. My contribution deals with teachers' approach and Barbara's work is about students' approach.

The title is :
teachers' and students' approach in educational blogs . If you are interested in reading it, please, click on the title and you'll go directly to that page!

Have a nice LONG weekend!!
Bye
